Recent Enhancements to 802.11 WLANs and How They Will Impact Your Networks
The IEEE has been developing the 802.11ax amendment for several years and it is planned for ratification later in 2019. 802.11ax devices have been released into the market already based on the draft of this new amendment. As a networking professional, it is essential that you understand what this new technology means to your network and this session will provide you with the technical details. You will discover OFDMA, BSS coloring, and other essential features of 802.11ax. Additionally, the Wi-Fi Alliance has released the new WPA3 security certification for 802.11 devices. Tom will explore this new capability set with you and explain what you need to know to effectively deploy this new security solution set as it becomes available as well.
